I recently traded a Silverado 1500 3.0 duramax for a '23 Tacoma sport. Loving the truck, but getting used to its smaller size. For that reason, I decided to go with the Bilstein 5100 strut leveling kit installed on the 5th notch (2" lift) and a 1" block in the back( I should have done the 1.5 AAL, but that will come).

I'd like to put 275's on the truck with some new 17" wheels. I know if i put the 275's on the current TRD Sport 17's I'd have to run wheel spacers to get it to clear the UCA. So, what kind of offset should I look for in wheels that will allow me to run 275's without rubbing?

I had Falken wildpeaks on my Silverado and loved them, so i'll either go with those again or Bf Goodrich Ko2's depending on my budget when I get ready to pull the trigger in a few months.

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
0 or -10 will make things easy for you fitting 275s or 285s without spacers.
You can look at the specs of Scs wheels or the Trd Pro to get some info.

The problem I'm seeing here is that the wheels I like are usually 8.5 wide, vs the stock 7" width of my stock trd sport wheels. So by going 1.5" wider in wheel, with the backspacing of 0 or -10, will I be able to clear running on the UCA, and not rubbing on the back.

I'm starting to think the best way to go is to get some TRD pro wheels that are 17 x 7 with a 4mm backspacing and then I dont think I'd have any issues with the 275's... But the wheels I was really interested in come in 8.5"
