You need to either run taller coil springs, or set the notch higher with factory springs; you shouldn't combine both, it puts way too much stress on the 5100's.

As for UCA's, you won't know what you NEED until after you lift and align. You're probably going to need them if you go any taller though.

Pretty sure you shouldn't go above the .85 setting (one notch from the lowest 0 setting ) with the 1.6 in lift eibach coils. That's 2.45 in of lift and will likely require ucas unless you want it to wander all over the road. If you went the next setting you wouldn't have much droop left in the suspension which is gonna provide a shit ride.

The front 5100s have three levels of "rise" above stock, so 4 choices.
    1) 0.00"
    2) 0.85"
    3) 1.75"
    4) 2.50"

I've had mine about a year. Set at .85 with the 4 leaf in the rear. It still retains some rake. 1st pic is with virtually no weight in the back. 2nd pick has about 500lbs in the back.

I guess I will need to put the money aside and upgrade the fronts. Thanks for the input.

5100's are at 1.75 with stock coils and tons of rake in the rear from airbags. Does not like to drive straight. I'm planning on getting light racing uca's soon. Lesson learned.

Why don't you air your bags down?

I am about to put on 5100's. I have a 2012 Dble cab 4x4. It has the factory 4 leaf pack. No other mods. Should I go with .85 or 1.75?

Do you want it perfectly level? Do you tow or carry weight in the bed? I went with .85 because I tow a boat and use the bed quite a bit. So when it's unloaded I have a little rake.

I have mine set at 2.5 with 265/70/17s on stock sport wheels. No rub and it rides like stock.

I tow a few times a year and use the bed to haul a few times a month.
I do like the level look. I'm going with 265/70R17 as well.
I was sure I was going with 1.75 but with all the info out there it's hard to find and determine with the best plan.

I just finished running billy's at 1.75 with OEM coils after about 8 months of use and my truck handled fine for both city and OR use (my truck was level at this point). I got trail armored and my rear diff skid mounting bracket rubbed against my gas tank during some CO rock crawling, so I installed a Wheeler's 1.5" AAL, which added back the rake. I really liked the bilstein 5100's overall and so when I upgraded to a 3" lift a couple of weeks ago, I stayed with the 5100s and added 3" eibach coils (with bilsteins set at 0) but kept the same AAL in rear (installed some TC UCA's as well), so now I'm level again. Overall, I am very happy with the 5100's and am currently running 265/70/16's but will soon upgrade to 285/75/16. We'll see how I feel at the end of the year after putting it through some more rock crawling hell, so far, so good though. If they don't last, I'll upgrade to something a little more high end. Meanwhile, they have proven to do the job pretty well up to this point.

Just installed a full set of 5100's this past weekend. I'll post up some pics and lessons learned on the front install soon. Back install doc'd here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rear-bilstein-5100-install.382196/

IBut, have a question or two:
    1. Am I the only one freakin' out that the entire weight of the front of the truck rests on those flimsy snap rings on the 5100 adjustable shocks?
    2. Has anyone ever had the adjust rings break?

At first when I bought mine I thought it was pretty shitty that all the weight is on those rings but once I installed them you see what a good design it is.
