I know I've read somewhere in this thread about not running a sway bar on the front of a 1st gen when running 5100's and Eibach 620's but can't find the post in 138 pages. Can anyone help? FYI I'm a DC 4wd V6. Thanks in advance !

I used the 1/4" spacer on drivers side to get rid of the taco lean i had. Rear extended hose is also a good idea. The stocker can get tight at full flex.

Rubs frame or pinch weld? Frame depends mostly on wheel backspacing, if you are rubbing the frame you need wheels with better backspacing or wheel spacers. If you rub the pinch weld get out the angle grinder and BFH and bend that shit in.

Wow that was fast. It rubs on plastic fender well. On the inside of it and just the corner of it. I was told by someone to add strut spacers 2" but after reading here for nights im not sure it that's the right choice.

No avoid spacers if you can, they ride like shit and aren't helping the real issue. The real issue is the shit is in the way and needs to be gone. I cut most of that plastic shit out. Lift doesn't help with rubbing because when the suspension flex's it will rub anyway. I ran the same height and width tires in the 16" variant with no lift and 1.25" wheel spacers for years.

    4 inch procomp lift
I have a question about the 5100/ebaich coils ... I bought a 1998 tacoma 4x4 it came with a procomp 4inch lift kit . I want to replace the strut assembaly and I was wondering if it would be possible to use the strut and spring combo and a 1inch spacer on top.so that I would have 4 inches lift that the kit requires ... really would appreciate anybody input in St his

No. Kit uses a 4" spacer. As whole suspension is down 4". Your range of travel would be 3" off and limited by the bump stops quite a bit.

    Hey guys!
I sold my 98 3.4l and it had front strut spacer ( about 2,5" or 3") and rear block that cause leaf spring wrap. I had it like this but never had trouble with it.
Now, I just acquiered a 2002 2.7L tacoma kingcab 4wd, and I wanted to put some 5100 in the front, not sure for the coil spring. And I am also confused for the rear lift! I am tempted for a new shackle, but I really don't want a block lift.

Thank you for helping me choosing my lift.

I have a Revtek Spacer kit on my Taco, If i was to do this 5100/eibach lift, would I have to take out my spacer kit?
