    Ok, back in topic..
Here she is all buttoned up. Finally. Ha.
Gained about an inch all around from previous 2" spacers and blocks.

    5100's with eibachs and dakars
~3" in front, 3.5" in back.

    ground to fender:
    40" front
    40.5" rear

Little filthy she is but oh well.

These numbers are much better. Camber and toe are good and will not cause unusual tire wear. The caster could be a bit higher but is certainly better than before. How does she drive? Been on the highway yet? Steering might be a bit light. Higher the caster, the heavier the steering feel and less susceptibility to road irregularities and side winds.

It pays to be up front with the alignment techs. They are so used to customers knowing nothing about this stuff, when someone requests something specific, it is like a challenge to them. Some like the challenge and some do not.

Only drove it home. But initially after the lift, it was a bit squirrely, especially in the wind as it was yesterday.. But that was probly due to the camber being off too.. Extremely smooth now, even better than it ever has been I think. Idk, gotta see. Also took my sway bar off for the first time. Not sure I like it. Again, have to drive it more. Just gotta be careful on speed bumps with these eibachs is all, lol. Other than that, much much better than my old spacer and block lift. Thank you guys for helping me out through all this.:hattip::bowdown:

Haha. Well, I'll just swap out the coils later on If it's still too stiff for me. No biggie. Coils aren't too bad $ wise. But I'll Probly have to make adjustments in the rear as well. Dakars gave me like 3.5"...

Any suggestions on what to look into as far as coils go when I do make the swap? Accounting for the bumper by then of course. Ome 882 or 883?

Unless you're planning on an aftermarket skid and winch. Go 881s.

40" on the front is quite a bit. I know you don't have front axles to worry about but you can't have very much down travel at that height.

Haha. Guilty as charged. Yup like no down travel. Lol. I just didn't think it would come out that way. I just assumed itd be stiff, and only a bit of loss in down travel. Didn't realize until I let it off the jack and it didn't budge once the tires hit. Lol. Oh well. New coils are up next once the plate goes on. Maybe I can sell these. Again it doesn't drive TOO terrible. On the road anyways. And the dirt road I live on is pretty rough and bumpy, and it does ok. Just any kinda drop and it falls flat on it's face.

You have no idea what a nice front end setup rides like. Garrentee its way way waaaaayyyy better then anything you've had on it yet.

There is no way your truck rides "OK" by normal standards. I bet stock rides better then it does now haha

So what am I to do with the dakars once I swap coils up front? Take a leaf, or the overloads out? I don't ever haul anything. Plan to get gear down the road tho so could reinstall them at that point.. But she's sitting pretty level atm. So I'll Probly end up with some good rake.

I may do this sooner than I think. I may not see that bumper for a few months. And the more I drive it, the more I'm not liking it and wanna order some new coils asap now. Ha.

Yea can always take out leafs. Not that hard to do. Rake isn't all bad. Came with rake from the factory.

So I don't understand, I see a lot of guys with the same setups up front. Are y'all just sucking it up with how stiff it is and zero down travel, or am I missing something? Lol. Because I don't hear that many complaints...

Same set-set-up, rides like a brick. I recently installed a TG tube bumper and that made a slight difference but nort much at all. I have read quite a few threads on this set-up with pretty much the same reviews.

.....ADS or KINGS is on my list.

I got rid of my Bilstein/Eibach combo and installed Icon ext travels. With Camburg UCA's. Then 1.5" AAL & Icon 2.0 smooth body shocks for the rear. I didn't spend the extra money for resis because I'm not a Baja 1000 desert racer. The Bilstein/Eibach is a great starter set up as long as you leave the 5100's on 0

Hm. Well I originally wanted to go coilover route. Almost did. But I didn't wanna have to deal with servicing them. And figured this was a good starter lift. Then could change things up down the road. Still not sure I wanna go coilovers. For what I do it's really not necessary. But I'd still like to have a little flex. Or at least not fall like a brick going over bumps. Haha. Do these coils soften up any at all? I'm really hoping that with my plate bumper it'll be bearable and hold me over for a while. I could live with that but right now, it's horrible over bumps. I'm anxious to take it off road. Lol.
