    Would you guys recommend eibachs with 5100s for 2002 3.4L DBC PreRunner?
    Im looking for 3inch lift. I know the preload is 620, would that be a harsh ride?

    Appreciate it man! Ride was a little rough at first but then again it's on 20's and 305's so for anyone with meatier tires it will be better. And yessir got the built right uca's you can find threads on them on the forum. They may give a hair over 3" of lift on the prerunners because they are kind of light up front but I'm also running a 1.5" 4crawler body lift for the extra room

    Yep .Harsh. Even once they're finally cycled in and settled a bit, which takes forever, still pretty harsh.. I'd recommend looking into ome coils. I will eventually.. Got about 12k miles on my eibachs atm. With a relentless bumper too. Had a full 3 inches.. They've sagged a lil bit since but not much. Has gotten a little smoother and softer up front. But it is quite unmatched to the rear with the dakars...

    Another thing I'll mention, is she isn't happy when she hits a pothole/rut/drop-off, not to mention having to mall crawl the speed bumps. Lol... Right after install tho, dropping it off the jack, the suspension didnt budge. Literally. Lol. If it wasnt for the limitations in droop, then it'd be nice. Because being maxed out at 3", or close to it after she sags a hair, there's literally almost zero down travel. So it clunks and bangs whenever you hit a sudden drop off that requires some down travel.

    As i said, I'll be swapping. Just too lazy to do it. Ha. Still gotta look into what the best coil will be. Also gonna switch to nitros. So all ome. Which ive heard works wayyy better as it's all designed to work together. Certainly not like a mismatched cheaper route like i went. Even if i have to get some small top plate spacers on the ome's up front (after they sag) it'll still be a better ride because of the softer spring rate. Ill probly remove a leaf in the dakars as well to level it out. My rear hasnt settled one bit i think. So i have a very slight rake goin on atm.

    Edit. I'll also throw in some good, because I do feel fairly happy with the setup, compared to my (previous owner installed) spacer lift. Much much more capable offroad now. And actually handles really well on the trails. Better than the road I'd say. Which i thought was odd. I also removed the sway bar too. So that helped as well. Plus i got to retain the 3 inches which is what I was after to begin with. So im hoping to be able to retain that as well when I make the switch to ome.

    @NightProwler
    I was thinking of rolling with:
    881s, nitros and either a 10mm(3/8") or 13mm(1/2") spacer plate on top
    Not sure which would be best.
    Im trying to stay level or possibly have a minimal rake.

    Yeah that sounds about the right direction. Been a while since ive looked at the coil options tho. Like I said I'll have to do some more homework and go over the ome thread again when it comes time to do the swap. Someone else might chime in.. But Yeah, ive been putting it off for far too damn long. I just need to do it. Ha. I mean, eibachs arent so terrible that i regret it every day I drive it. I felt I bashed on em pretty hard. They're nice, but again, they're meant for fully loaded tacos. Even then, I cant imagine the down travel would be much better.. If there was a way to extend the droop another inch or so, then they'd probly be just fine! Because yeah, 3" is literally the MAX she can handle without going mid/long travel. Even at that, she's not really "handling" it that well, when the shocks are topping out so abruptly the way they do at the slightest droop. Ha. Im surprised they don't put a disclaimer on these for prerunners, stating that it may cause damage to components in those cases.

    I recently put on 881s with a 3/8" spacer and it sits pretty even with my 1.5" progressive AAL. My truck is 4x4 but with a 4cyl and extended cab.

    Do you think a 1/2in spacer plate will get my truck to 3inches on 881s?
    Its 3.4L, not a 4x4 so i assume because its lighter it should sit higher :confused:
    All this shiz is confusing lol
