after some searching they look like daystar shackes, and they lift 1.25''. These definitely aren't stock though, right?

I am thinking of going 5100's, Eibachs, etc...should I keep these to use with a 1.5'' AAL or a wheelers 5 pack to level out the truck, or should I ditch them and go with a diff setup? If they are there, mind as well use them, right?

depends on budget, id stick with them and get teh 1" aal or just sell them and put that towards a new leaf pack but id probably go with the AP 3" packs not the expo unless you carry lots of weight.

Being a 97 I would have to hack off my spring hangers and move 'em because AP doesn't make a 95-97 specific leaf pack.

If I get another leaf pack i will get the wheelers 5 pack (1.5'' lift) and couple them with my shackles to level with the eibachs up front.

Or if I dont have the cash, I will get an Icon 1.5'' AAL set.

I would keep the shackles. I have 1" Toytec lift shackles on with my Dakar leaf pack and I like it.

They look shot. It looks like they're flat or have a negative arch to them. I would get a new leaf pack if you're able to.

the AAL will give the pack new life, until you can afford a leaf pack; if you don't have the funds right now

yeah, if I have the funds I will get a new pack, but if I dont I will just get the AAL, and sell it later down the line when I get the money for a new leaf pack....maybe I will suck it up and move the spring hangers and get an AP pack...

yeah, Its a big bummer and cuts down on a lot of options. I have the resources to do the work, I am just nervous about hacking off the front AND rear spring hangers so I can use the AP pack.

So if I do go for a new leaf pack I will probably get a wheelers/alcan 5 pack because they actually make a 95-97 specific kit.

Yea when i originally posted i was looking at it by the prices of the options but forgot about having to cut...the allpros would be cheaper but depends on wanting to cut or not so in your case then id go with the alcan leafs even thought they are a little more pricey but either way both are quality options.

Did you guys that installed the 5100/eibachs retain the stock rubber isolator that goes between the coil and the top plate?

I dont have it of course because of the spacer lift. I am replacing the two rubber bushings, but I can imagine that that rubber isolator is not cheap from toyota.

    hmmm...what else goes up there?

I know there is the insulator that goes between the coil and top plate, and the two bushings that go on either side of the top plate, but is there an insulator that goes between the top plate and the upper strut mount?
