Got the 5125s barely used and save some money over buying brand new 5100s. Thats the only reason.

Good enough reason for me. So i was told u should have the 5125 with a 3" lift in the rear. Would they still perform fine if i used them with only a 2" lift??

You can get them in different lengths. I was told these with the 9" of travel (24" ext, 15" compressed) would work with the 2" lift.

Like I said. There is no difference in the actual shocks other then length. Call DSM tell them your setup and they will hook you up

Pshht Called em, they recommended lifting the rear then measuring for an exact length. Ugh wish someone could just buy me 3" leaf packs....

Well that is the correct way to do it. I had to buy shocks twice cause I didn't do it that way. Every truck responds different to every product.

I drive around for a week or more with no shocks. Not that big a deal. Just keep so,e weight in the back does the same thing. Shocks only dampen the springs recoil.

And DSM is the leading shock distributer in the nation I believe and are the foremost experts in blistein shocks

I was unaware of that. Still trying to figure out a reasonable cheap way to get 3" lift in the back without going to a junk yard or buying a new pack. DSM said blocks aren't bad at all and they have no affect on the ride/performance. I know a guy on here who runs a 3" block. But there's so many combos with shackles, AALs, and blocks to get 3".

I had blocks. Short term isn't horrible..long term..not so good. You'll have frowning leafs in no time.

Honestly. Just buck up and get new leafs. Itll save you the hassle later down the road. There is a GB for Allpro leafs right now.

Well i'll look into the GB and see how much they are - otherwise i could always do new leaf packs next year.

    EDIT: Group buy closed :(

Ya they are the same. But the weight capacity of the standards is too low for my needs. The expos would be perfect. I have to relocate hangers and mounts as do all 95-97 tacos
