I found two fat washers to use as spacers. worked fine for the front skid plate. but the back one is only supported by 2 bolts

    What?

The front and diff skid should share two bolts then the diff has two out back and the front has 3 up front..

The front skid has 5 bolts. 3 in the front 2 in the middle somewhat. The back skid has 4 bolts. The 2 in the front bolt onto the front skid plate (these are the two I cant get on) and then another 2 bolts in the back of that skid plate.

2 in the back and one 1/2" bolt up front in the middle.. Its not going anywhere, that thing is about 1 1/2" long. My skid bolts are the same socket size as the lugs..
