Yeah I've still got the stock shocks. They are real shitty so I guess I need new ones anyway

Have you guys ran into any issues with the cv angles or anything? I have looked into the cv boot mod, but don't really want to mess with that

Also I just got new 265/75/16 tires, do you guys think ome 881 would be better since I do not plan on going up to 285 tire size?

Yes. If your worried about CVs..don't get the Eibachs. The 881s will do just fine. Unless your wanting to add a bumper/winch..then you'll want 882s

Do you think I'll clear 255/85/16 km2s without eibachs? I don't wanna tear cv boots all the time. I don't mind to use a hammer on the pinch weld

yea if you don't care about cutting a lot and hammering a lot, they will fit.

You'll end up hammering a LOT tho mostly due to the fact a 255/85 tire is like 33.5'' or something and 285/75 is 32.8 or so so it'll be taller and hit more of the fire wall.

Holy Shit! SO many questions! Each question has already been answered if you just read from page 1

Also even though tire sizes say 285/70r17 = 32.8 inches tall, remember every tire is different. For instance mine is taller than a 33.

    Misstype!

i have the 881's with the billies set at the middle setting and i got a little less than 2.5" of lift with my 65 lb tube bumper and approximately 140 lbs of sliders. i also have the same size tires and they fit perfectly, only minimal rubbing. this is the only pic i have of the front
    [IMG]

    hope this info helps

thanks that does help, arent you not supposed to put it on the middle setting if you have a first gen? thought it would only give about 2 inches of lift if i put it on 0"? im guessing your rubbing on the frame at full lock? i noticed that too with my michelins

No he has OME 881 coils which give about 1.5'' lift on the 0'' setting. I wouldn't really recommend putting it on the 1'' setting with the OME coils..but whatever

now the Eibachs..DON'T even THINK about running them on anything but 0.
