Ah I'm more so hesitant to cut the body of my truck

    Oh yeah?
What do your tires rub on? Since you said "almost" no rub anywhere..
I'd really like 33's but I'll do research and find pics of 32s vs 33s & if possible of BFG All Terrains

But note, each truck is slightly different, some people rub with some sizes, some don't with the same size

My friends truck rubs with 265/75r16s

I trimmed enough with my 33s and I don't rub at all off road anymore, I just cut some plastic and banged the crap out of that lunch weld just to where it's flat
    Nothing major

I'm curious... how long do these coils / Billies usually last before they need replacing?

I'd imagine the coils should last almost the lifetime of the truck but the shocks will probably need replacing at 40 to 50k. Bilstein 5100's have a lifetime warranty don't they? Free shocks fo life.

Free shocks fo life? Sounds too good to be true, probably warranty replacements if it's a defect within the Billies..

Okay one more question, are my CV boots be a concern? I feel like they're a little bit scrunched than my liking -- particularly the lower boots on both sides...

The rings around the boots where the boots are clean is due to rubbing. Eventually it will wear through the boot. Do the boot slide mod. It's cheap and easy. Mine aren't rubbing and I'm still going to do it, just need to get another hose clamp.

I'm having a hell of a time getting the lower boot to slide up the shaft 1/2" or however far will allow the fins not to rub... it just can't get past the groove-- wiggles about 1/16-1/8" up the shaft and won't go any further. I'm wondering if this is meant for 2nd gens (since it's in their section) or what

I have PT here soon so I guess I'll throw a clamp on the lower boot and put everything back on until further notice :(

Slide a small flat head under the lip and work it around, simultaneously working the boot down with your other hand....it'll go.
