Longer lines for the front are not required. The rear line many need to be replaced depending on how high you go back there and how well the suspension flexes.

I dont even need longer lines with my mid travel setup, and that has more travel than the eibach/5100 combo

Nah don't need new front break line. A new rear one though, yes.

I'm only doing an add a leaf in the rear at this point. I know I will probably need to go higher to make it sit level but i started out my ordering just a 2.5 lift with 5100s no lift springs but before i even received my lift i decided i want to go to a 3 '' with eibach springs . Thanks for you feedback tho i appreciate it.

Do you think it will be dramatically higher in the front than rear with the set up I decribed?

You'll probably gain 3.5" in the front at first, or at least I did. Never done AAL so I don't know if it's true 2.5-3" lift gain

Get the rear line it's $20. As soon as your truck goes on a lift and the suspension is droop the stock lines GONE

    Bone stock. For now.
I think this is the route that I'm gonna go. I've been trying to decide between the 5100/Eibach and OME. For some reason Bilsteins just call to me...

Thanks for the tips guys. Ill get the brake lines ordered up and for you Tribull I basically have the same truck ( same color and yearish ) as you I will have to post pics once mine is done. I also have total chaos UCA's that im throwing on as well, donated to me from my brother. He bought a lifted 97 4 runner a year or two ago already lifted but the guy gave him the total chaos UCAs with it and he never had the disire to put them on nor off road his rig so SCORE for me . I'm stoked to get this lift on with in the next week.

Can I get the break lines at a regular parts shop? or should I order them?

The lowest setting will give you more that 3" of lift putting you beyond the design spec for the Tacoma IFS. Going higher than the lowest setting is definitely not recommended.

0" is the ONLY setting for 1st gens.

Unless your coils are shot and you have some super heavy weight up front then MAYBE you can do 1.25"(Silas is the only one i know that has needed to do that)

You have no bumper or anything so 0" will be MORE then enough anything higher and you'll destroy your CV axles.

3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
To avoid confusion (like I had) the lowest setting is the bottom setting when the nut/ threads are at the top. Also make sure the coil seat is on correctly, it should cover the "C" clip completely. After researching and going through the install my self, I've seen people mix up the top setting for the lowest, and an upside down coil seat will gain you extra preload that could ruin your setup. If you have it installed make sure you know how it should be so you can check their work. Have fun with the new lift!
