    yea could not do it without hiatt though. He has been their for most of the installs. Need a lift and would be able to crank it out sooner.

    Pm"d I can also help you so I can learn I have spring compressors also. I tried to do it myself but I couldn't get the old shock out , I removed the wheel, the sway bar and the top 3 nuts and bottom nut from the shock

    Remove the top spindle nut. Tap to remove the upper ball joint and the spindle will drop giving you plenty of room for everything. Have something to support the weight of the spindle, hub and lower arm until you reassemble everything.

    I do these in my sleep.

    Sweet I"ll try this I saw a YouTube video about using the no spring compressor method but. Don't feel that that was safe my truck weighs too much to chance it i have a double cab long bed
