Bilstein 5100’s all around OME 885 Coils Add a leaf ARB Full Skid Plate BFG K02’s
I’ve just put some Bilstein 5100’s with 885’s and have been having a good time with them. Recently when I got an oil change the Toyota tech noticed the front right suspension was leaking. I looked around the forums and stumbled across the warranty sheet from Bilstein stating that this was a “normal” occurrence. I would’ve never noticed it as it drives smooth, doesn’t bottom out or make any sounds. Pictures is what the suspension looks like. Any thoughts of whether this leak looks like the “normal” kind or is this something I should be worried about? Thanks in advance

A few years back, my rear 5100 with only 5K miles looked like that. My mechanic failed my annual state inspection as a result. I had to throw on a cheap NAPA shock (1. to pass inspection and 2. to send it back for warranty). I sent the 5100 back to the place of purchase. They denied the warranty claim and said it performs "normally". I removed the other 5100 rear and replaced both rears with another reputable brand. I and my mechanic called BS.

Not a single leak on the new ones.
