I'm getting the 5100s with AAL on the rear next week. I'll let you know what I think.

This might not work for you though as you are asking about the 3" lift kits. The 5100 kit is meant to work with factory springs. You are looking at something completely different. On a side note, I've never belonged to a forum where the search option works. Here is what I and most people do and precisely what I've done to gather the info I have wanted about the things I was curious about.

    Using google try typing this:

Bilstein 3" lift kit + tacoma world.

Here is what I found when I typed just that:

I will. I'll be running 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATM RF-10 tires. I can't seem to find any bad reviews on these tires...once everything is on, should be by a week tomorrow, I'll take some photos. I will also take some before and after photos of the stock tire/ride height vs lifted. I'm looking forward to it.

Next will be tinted front windows and a TRD hood.

Why do you want to go with a 3" lift anyway? From what I read, even at 3" anything more then a 265 tire is going to rub.

Looking forward for new set of wheels. I been reading a few also. It looks like a hit n miss. Some say it clears some say it doesn't.

I suppose it all depends on the back spacing of the wheel and the tire. I had a 2012 Golf GTI that I lowered on 19" wheels and it rubbed. Other guys with the same springs but different tires had no issues.

Check out this photo. I'm not sure what the guy is running for a lift but he has 265/75/16....IMG_5483.jpg

I almost pulled the trigger on a grey Taco but decided on the white instead. Hope I don't regret my decision......

I have a 3" lift already(don't know the brand, came with the car from pervious owner) with 265/70/17. I just wanted to upgrade my suspension. After my suspension upgrade then I'll b looking for new wheels

I was a little picky about my color. It was either blue, red or black. I found the better deal on the blue. I'm glad I pick the blue because the ladies love it

lol. I saw a blue one as well when I was on the lot. Not the same blue as yours but it was nice none the less, I gave it some serious consideration as well. I've had black cars and I just can't do black. I become a slave to the paint. I currently drive a 2014 Santa Fe which is Titanium silver (grey) but it's a POS, hence the Tacoma. In the end I started browsing this forum and looked at all the different colours and when I came to white I immediately told my wife without hesitation that white was what I was going to get. So I did.

I even thought to hold out for another month or two to get a 3rd Gen but didn't want to deal with potential problems with the new power train.

That's why I got it. We spend our summers camping, have two children and mountain bike all year round so I wanted something I wasn't going to stress out about all the time. Like you, I will be getting wheels sooner then later but first I need to find a TRD hood.
