I am thinking about purchasing this Bilstein 5100 set (see link at bottom of post) in order to raise my Tacoma two inches, however, I do have a few questions.

I've seen posts and videos about people going the 5100 route and getting something like OME coils, would a coil upgrade be necessary?

To offset the famous taco lean so my truck is level, would I have to purchase/install anything in addition to the 5100s?

Most posts I see regarding the 5100s usually say something about and add-a-leaf, however, I've read those are only upgraded if you need to upgrade load capacity in the truck bed, which I don't need too. So if I installed the 5100s would I need to upgrade my add-a-leaf?

    Thanks for any help

OME coils are an option, but not required, you can use your stock coils.

you can use OME coils with a quarter inch spacer On the drivers side for the lean.

you can also order from headstrong off-road and they will ship the setup preassembled.

Don't go with OME coils without first looking into the issues a lot of 3rd gen owners have had with them sagging after six months or so.

I did. And I found posts referencing it, but none which explained it. Truck apparently leans to the driver's side slightly?
Is this due to the typical Taco owner's weight, or is it due to the truck design?

Yes it is typical. The post below your explains what is causing it. Basically you can get a spacer so you don't have that noticeable lean on that side.

Add a leaf (aal) is used for a few reasons- lift the rear to maintain a factory rake; minimaze sagging of the rear when loaded.
Going with 2 inches in the front will bring the nose up over the rear.
On stock trucks, there is 1 inch(+ -) difference between rear and the front. Rear sits higher.

I have done a few recent ones but, gonna get new coils. The 5100 isna great setup for what my needs are. I'm sure with new coils it will bring the front up a bit and make it level.

I have the 5100s up front with a 2 inch lift. Rear is completely stock and it looks level to my eyes. I'm running 33 inch tires. I really like the combo.
