I've searched quite a bit and can't find anyone with this setup...I don't want to lift my truck, but want to upgrade my stock tokico shocks. Looks like I can get a set of 5100's from DSM for less than buying a set of regular Bilstein 4600 (yellow/blue) from anywhere else.

Is anyone running 5100 set at 0" with stock SR5 coils? If so what is your experience / ride like?

Don't have them, but everyone ive ever seen says the ride is better. People complain that the lift makes the ride stiffer, but at 0" you wouldn't even have that.

Most people use the 5100's at 0" if they have lift coils...if that says anything.

Some of this Some of that
They're better shocks than factory, maybe stiffer, but a great investment even without any lift

1" lift from 3rd gen suspension, 265/75/16 ATs
There are quite a few TW members with Eibach coils and 5100's set at 0. That combination will however result with up to 1.6" lift on a second gen.

Bilstein 5100's all round (0" up front with stock springs), 265/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, K&N 63 Series Aircharger Kit, Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler, Delta Champion Toolbox, fog lights, back-up lights, Sirius satellite radio with PA15-TOY, Midland 1001z CB radio with 2' Firestik II antenna, Weathertech floor mats, AVS sill protectors, Marathon SuperHides Seatcovers (Universal Digital Camo), trimmed front mud flaps, Viair 20005 OBA, Warn W650D driving lights and W650F fog lights on N-Fab light bar, Hi-Lift X-treme jack with off road accessories, TracRac "TracONE" system
I run this exact setup (stock coils, 0" lift). Really good ride (in my opinion) compared to the stock blue and yellow shocks. When I first made the switch - about 80,000 km ago - I notices a huge difference when driving over railway crossings and generally bumpy roads. The truck seemed more stable and less likely to wander as the suspension moved about.

I was wondering the same thing about this setup. The only difference is I am probably putting mine at .85 due to skid plates up front. Any thoughts?

Just installed mine this last weekend at the .85 setting with stock springs. Still have a nose down of about .75 inch, but the ride is much better.

I set mine to the .85" setting because I had the rear TSB done. I like the stance and the ride is much better then stock. I heard any higher and it does get a little stiff. Going with an upgraded unloaded coil and 0 setting is better in that case.
