The OEM leafs are not the greatest so I went with an AAL so it added a little more arch in the leaf pack. Ride is not bad at all.

Yes. Center point of the hub/wheel to fender. That is the way I understood to do it. Once you know this, you will know your existing rake and can add what you want to front and back accordingly.

I usually throw a finger up to any Tacoma’s that are slightly modded around town. (I say that because the stock ones are typically people that aren’t Tacoma enthusiasts like us”

    Hey guys,

Recently upgraded wheels and tires to 265 70r17's on my '16 TRD Sport 4WD. I'm getting a little rubbing so decided to order the Bilstein 5100's on all four corners to correct. I'm stuck deciding between the .65 inch lift notch and the 1.1 inch in the front only. I'd like to keep the rear stock height. Does anyone have any experience with both? Which did you prefer? Is the .65 noticeable? Would this small lift help with the rubbing? I'd like it to be noticeably different than stock but not overdone. I'd also like to be pretty close to level but don't mind a little rake. Thanks for the help, First time posting so really stoked to have discovered this forum!

    Hi Kyle

Welcome to the forum. Lots of people with lots of experience here. Hopefully someone who solved that same question will chime in on this thread . If not keep searching the site... the answer is somewhere. Truck looks great. Have fun with it.

    Hey Kyle,

I am not a suspension professional, but I have installed the 5100s on my access cab Tacoma. #1) Looks like you have a double cab long box 4x4. So that will be the heaviest stock tacoma. #2) You stated that you want to clear the tire rubbing AND you would like to get it close to level with maybe a bit of rake. The stock truck has about a 1” rake. In my opinion, the 1.1 setting should be just what you are looking for. Alternatively, you would probably clear your slight rubbing with the .65 setting, but not even notice it visually.

Anyone know if Bilstein offers a 650 lb coil (or higher spring rate coil) for the 5100s? I know they offer it on the larger 6112s.

No. Nothing for the 5100s. 5100s are designed to be used with the stock coils.

5100’s designed to be used with OEM coils.if you are looking to get new coils go with 6112’s or eibach kit.

Thanks D-Money, I'll try the 1.1 and see how it looks. I'll post pics when it's done.

I just installed the 5100's front and rear with a 1" block in the rear last night. Stock coils, stock tires, and wheels. I do like the ride more compared to the stock suspension. I have a set of Falken Wildpeak at3w 275/70R17 sitting in my garage ready to be installed. Just waiting for my wheels to arrive.

Here are some pics with the lift on the 4th setting

Was just out there at sheep's yesterday. Looking to go to exact setup youve got according to the first 6 pages of this thread. Out of curiosity what area of az you in?And to anyone reading this: my plan is 5100s with front on the 1.1 notch. Tires will be 267/75/16 wildpeaks at3 standard loads. Would would it be worth adding a block in the rear so I could use a higher notch on front 5100s, which would give more travel before tires catching inside of fender. I don't do any super hardcore offroading so I feel not doing the block in rear and the 1.1" setting in front would be just fine. Feel free to chime in.
