    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
It will also offset to droop. Droop starts x" lower (depending on spacer) and therefore at full droop, you are x" lower which can damage ball joints, CV's, tie rods, etc...

Although that said, 1" should be ok now that I think about it. Extended travel Coil overs generally offer an extra .5-1" droop.

Generally spacer lifts are for streat queens. If you want extra travel, get a proper CO setup.

    thanks for the input.

would the tundra5100/ebiach combo provide for a smoother ride at 3" of lift height vs a high end CO?

reason i ask is the 5100/ebiach combo would not be running on a preloaded coil spring (ebiach 3" lift spring providing the lift without any preload on the coil spring). whereas if you wanted 3" of lift out of a CO setup you would need to preload the spring to provide the extra lift (preloaded spring providing lift making ride more harsh)?

so at 3" of lift would the coilover setup be running crappy/not at its optimal performance as opposed to the tundra5100/ebiach combo which has no preload set to the spring or shock setup? seems that at 3" of lift the tundra5100/ebiach inferior setup would be about equivalent performace to a maxed out CO setup?

not sure if i have the correct reasoning here. any thoughts/input?

Not sure. I liked the ride with bilsteins and eibachs but they were tacoma shocks tundra shocks have stiffer valving.

My kings ride great, not that much preload.

Coming in late to this post.
Can a Tacoma coil-over (FOX) fit in a 1st Gen Tundra?

Mounting pattern on the top plate is different. Otherwise valving might be a little softer, but nothing horrendous. Granted this is a 1st gen taco Fox coilover.

Thanks. I just spoke with Bobby at Solo motorsports and he said I can buy a Tundra top plate and put it on my shocks. The only reason I was asking is that I want to Long Travel my 04 Tacoma. I have a Mid travel kit now but I don't want to buy new shocks for the Tundra if I don't have to.
