Great! Seems like in the lower price tier for aftermarket UCAs most are running SPC/Light Racing or JBA high caster.

Those look awesome, but they are probably out of my price range unless i could get a deal on a used set.

I've got 6112 and 5160s with stock UCA and have had no issues with alignment. I did notice some additional squeaks and creaks after the install, but that's mostly due to 14yr old rubber bushings everywhere. A bit of lube and everything is great.

While I haven't used 5100s, I've been very happy with my setup.

Seems to be the general consensus! I have a few dry looking suspension bushings as well that may as well be replaced while suspension is being replaced. My truck still has lots of warranty left so i'm gonna see if i can't con the dealership into replacing those under warranty before i give them any excuse not to.

I wonder this as well. I didn’t care because I thought the ride stiffness would be the same but the 5100s in the rear, for me, need to be changed out.

I really need something smoother to match the 6112s up front.

Sounds like your in need of a set of 5160s as well! I would say ill let you know how they ride after i get mine, but the consensus seems to be nearly 100% positive.:fingerscrossed:

I see you are in AZ so maybe the 5160s are for you since it’s a lot hotter out there than here in NY .

Is ambient temp really a factor that affects suspension performance? I thought the increased oil volume mostly benefited in long-time high-speed desert runs? Due to the extra oil taking more time to heat up.

Extra oil takes longer to heat up ,yes . As far as ambient temp probably not much effect . Running the desert yes .I’m not sure what you plan on doing with your truck but I see you live where it’s hot compared to me :notsure: In my opinion the reservoirs are over kill unless your running desert temps . I recall reading this somewhere when I researched doing my lift . That’s why I didn’t go with 5160s . I think there was a decent price difference also

I put 5100's all around on my truck. As others have said, I found their damping firm and after about 10,000 miles I swapped them out for 6112/5160 combo. I liked them better right off the bat and now have about 10,000 miles on them and are very pleased on and off road. I'd recommend going straight to 6112/5160.

Thanks for the explanation. In that case i think the 5160s are a no brainer for me if there is even a possibility of AZ temps having an effect. Ill also be doing mostly desert type running anyways.

How do you like the 6112s maxed out? Your on the 5th clip, correct? How is your down travel? I’m debating if I should go 6112/5160 or 5100s w/ ToyTec 2.5” springs. Willing to compromise ride quality/stiffness for max lift and max down travel.....
