I've got 5100s all 4 corners, front set to 0, 885 coils, and Deaver AAL on the stock packs in the rear. Truck sits dead level, perfection!
However, I've noticed that my stock uppers are hitting my coils at full droop. Which is often because the 885 is stiff without extra weight up there. I do plan to add a front bumper and winch in the not too distant future, along with many other things.
Will a bumper and winch solve the UCA from hitting the coil? I dunno.

I've got SPC LR UCAs to be in my hands whenever I go take them off my buddy's truck and we'll see if that helps it with a "better" alignment I'll gain from the better uppers.

Can Headstrong install the longer studs?

How much lift did the 885s give you? I'm thinking of running them until I add a bumper and winch.

It won't. Don't confuse droop with stuff. Weight helps with stuffing, not drooping. Unless your talking about it from a longevity perspective at which point this becomes a pointless topic.

I got close to 3", if not exactly 3" of lift.
@MedlinAround I think it was you I saw post a pic/chart of certain OME coils on 5100s. Tried to find it and steal it just now, without luck.

When I go into a hole fast, or come up out of one with speed, is when they hit. Makes me cringe...

    I think for a 3rd gen. it says 2 1/2'', but that's with a 6cyl.

You might net somewhere closer to 3" then. Mine are also used coils, had about 60k miles, iirc, when I put em on almost 30k miles ago. Still stiff, for a 4 cylinder.
I was told they may be the X model, due to "that's all that was available then". Not sure if OME has a current standard 885 and an 885X models.

They don't. They retired using an X in the marking of them due to them all being what was considered an X spec back in the day.

Come to find out, from a 2010 post here by Toytech, there is no "normal" 885 now. The new spring material ARB/OME started using in the 885X prevents long term sag. They only produce an 885X now, if I'm reading correctly.

I just want my uppers to stop gang banging my coils.

I'll have to ask Marie about the x models. I'm trying to match the height of my spacer lift, which is 2 1/2'' up front and 2'' out back, which gave me a perfectly level stance and enough to run the 33s. I had no idea that it was going to be this difficult. lol

Again, all the coils are x models now.

I would get a new leaf pack or 3-leaf AAL in the rear that should gain the 2" you want. I don't think the Deaver single leaf will get what you desire.
For the front, looks like 885 are what you need.

I see you have the Deaver 3-leaf. Did it stiffen your ride much? I don't have any weight out back.

I have a single leaf Deaver not the 3. It firmed the rear a bit, but it doesn't skip on the road like all my coworkers that drive domestics said it would :D

I see. I'm afraid the 3 leaf will bounce me out of the truck.lol. I might leave the block in until I add a bumper.
