Thank you! 285/75 on a 16x8 -25. Yes lots & lots of rubbing, aggressive, beveled cmc, tons of lower fender & plastic trimmed & butchered & pinch seams ground down still needing to be hammered flat. But I wheel all the time and I still haven’t completely destroyed my tires. The only rubbing currently is at full lock in reverse on the pinch seams.

Part of my reasoning to throw a half inch strut top spacer on is that it might just be the right amount of clearance I need for a little less contact/rubbing and it would look great. I think I’m barely at 2.5 or 2.6” of front lift right now & the strut TOP spacer will not give me more than about .5 inches of lift.

I have the same wheel/ tire specs, sooooo much trimming and a super aggressive CMC. Only rub at full lock in reverse turning right

You probably want to mention you would like to get close to 3 otherwise they'll put you at 1.25 and call it good. Also, you want to take it to a specialty shop and not a place like les scwab since typically the alignment techs dont know what they're doing and just let the machine do the magic.

Nice. I have had techs more than once walk back in the shop and tell me they can't do what I need. At least they're being honest.

yeah i mean i have to talk to a few people to make sure someone can do it who knows wtf they are doing. but i’m going to find a shop or someone first so i know where to do right after i install the lift. bc i drive 30 miles round trip highway to work and don’t want to go multiple days without the truck aligned.

just got my frame replaced so the truck just got re aligned. but still needs to be done again after the lift gets installed

Thanks! I'm happy with it. May look better with 285's but I don't want to deal with making those fit or anymore loss in gas mileage. Plus I'm about to get a Leer top so we will see if the rear sags any with it on.

Just installed Bilstein 5100’s with ome 885 coils. Took it down the road a couple miles and back. I noticed a very slight vibration in the pedals which doesn’t worry me too much because it hasn’t been aligned. But after getting back I looked under the truck just to check everything out and I noticed the sway bar is very close to the coil. It’s a 2015 double cab short bed off-road 4x4. Has anyone had to relocate the sway bar with this setup

I did not have that issue with my setup running TC UCA but I currently have my swaybar removed. At full droop, my UCA will hit the coil. Only happens at like 2mph anyway hahah

Mine isn't close enough to where it's making any contact on normal driving. Got a pic of your situation? Double check that you tightened the swaybar bolts to the frame, if they are loose, it will hang down lower.

With the higher spring rate of the 885s vs stock the body roll isn't bad with the sway bar removed, especially if you're also lifting the rear with leaf spring replacement. If you're looking to do any trail driving (or if you're in L.A. and drive on streets like Pico or Alameda), you'll ride smoother on rough terrain without the sway bar as well.

Losing the sway bar will cause problems if you're looking to autocross in the truck, but if that were the plan you shouldn't be lifting it (and probably shouldn't be in a truck at all) to begin with.

    This and that...
Did anyone have any issues bolting the LCA back to the steering knuckle after the shocks were in? Using the bottle jack and not closing the distance before it starts to come off the stands. Coil compressor...?D7BFB6A4-405E-445B-A42F-A4AFAEA27F8C.jpg

I usually stuff my floor jack under the LCA and go up until the holes line up.
