Hey guys I've been looking at putting some 265/70/17 BFG T/A KO2 on my 08 trd sport and was thinking of putting in some bilstein 5100s to lift it a bit. Have a couple questions, opinions/thoughts would be much appreciated. Have tried searching all the other forums, haven't had much luck in finding straight answers.
    1. Do I get new shocks for front and rear, or just front and leave the rear stock?
    2. How much do I have to lift the front and rear (if I get new rear shocks) for there to be no rubbing?
    3. Will there be any significant impact on fuel economy, handling, or longevity of my truck? Will any parts wear out faster because of it?
If you have any other suggestions, feel free to add them. I'm trying to keep it affordable, and also I live in Canada so I might also have a hard time getting parts. Thanks for any input and advice!

That size tire is stock tire size so you won't lose any power or mileage. Therefore, you won't have to worry about rubbing either.

Yes you can get just the fronts.

I thought stock was 265/65/17? Although i guess the extra inch in height shouldn't make much of a difference, but i did notice on here some people saying it would rub partly why I was wondering

ahh, for some reason my brain replaced the 17 with 16 since I have have an OR with 265-70-16.

I don't think it should be a problem, but I'll let someone with more experience answer

I have billies with 885's set at 0 in front and billies and Wheelers 3 Spring AAL in the rear I am running 265/70-17 KO2's on stealth wheels. I had to pull the little plastic piece off the front of the fenders. They rubbed when I backed up. I am still running full mud flaps front and rear

I have a 2007 TRD Sport with stock rims. I'm running Kelly Safari STR size 265/70/17 with 5100 bilsteins on the front and stock springs on the back. My front shocks are set at 1.85 lift. I have no problem with any rubbing at all. I have a great ride.

You can run 265/70r17 on stock suspension with zero or minimal rubbing (depending on tire). My Duratracs rub the LCA slightly at full lock because of the large lugs, but this has no effect on daily driving.

    Your mileage will decrease slightly.

If you're replacing the front, you might as well replace the rear, especially if you're still on factory shocks.

Is there any fix for this? I have the 16s and my duratracs rub at full lock on the right side. Not the largest of issues but I do live in the city so its happens daily and is getting irritating. Didn't happen until I put a OME lift kit on

Wheel spacers or rims with different back set. Bora makes a 3/4" wheel spacer that isn't too dramatic, but does the trick!
