    I am on the first side of my front install. Reading that I should not do the 2.5 setting. That is what I need, but I don't want to screw something up. Why no 2.5 setting?

    That is a lot of pre load, and it is going to be very stiff.

    ^^^ What Unchained said. You're maxing out the shock. If your trying to achieve 2.5-3" of lift, look at buying new coils (OME). This will ride better than the amount of preload set @ 2.5.

    Bilstein 5100's on all four corners. Front set @ 0 with OME 883x coils. Alcon leaf springs. Viper Alarm. Wet Okole seat covers. WeatherTech Floor liners front and back. Oem Toyota chrome exhaust tip. ARE Shell. America Outlaw Wheels.
    What unchained 5150 said plus you will need UCA to get your alignment back in spec's. Then your going to have to lift the rear and here comes the vibration issues.

    50/50 chance at 3" and less likely when lift numbers fall below that level.

    Yeah . Just hate to see another victume of those Danm vibration issues. That is why I did only a leveling kit on this one .

    I guess I got lucky. Full OME lift with 887's up front and Full Dakar Pack in rear. Carrier Bearing Drop Kit came with my kit. Haven't noticed anything different.

    Put them in at 1.75, leveled it and the ride is OK. Headed to get it aligned at noon.

    Ive had the 5100's set to 1.75 with eibach coils with no issues. for the back (5100's) I did an AAL and the 3* shim with absolutely no issues. A buddy of mine has the same set up and still no issues either. I think thats a proven set up by a lot of people on here.

    I have mine set @ 0 with the OME 883 which is the same thing but with no preload and I love it .
    Rides and looks good.

    I have done numerous bilstein's and pro comp pro runners, which sit at 2.75 rather than 2.5, the ride is stiffer yes, but it isn't horrible.

    I'm the original owner of my 2008 and I've been running my billy's at 2.5 no problem. Ride is not stiff, angle on my cv's aren't bad so didn't need UCA's. No complaints here.

    Some bilsteins, OME 885's, and an AAL.
    I ran mine on 2.5 for over a year, its certainly rough. But its bearable. Definitely a difference once i ditched the 2.5 billys for some 885 OME springs.

    What was the actual lift? Access cab is much lighter than DC, so I'm sure you got more than 1.75. I got just about 2.5 with mine set at 1.75. I have very minimal rubbing with my 33s and alignment is good on stock UCAs.
