Hi guys I’m new to TW! And I was hoping you guys can help me out..so I have a 2011 4x4 Tacoma and I’ve been wanting to lift it just a bit. At first I wanted to install spacers but I’ve heard they aren’t good.so I started looking at other options and I found the bilstein 5100’s. I was wondering if I just install the 5100’s on the front and rear, just by adding this will it add 2 inches to the front since the front 5100 are adjustable? Will I need to change other parts in order to do this or just the old shocks?. I don’t go off-roading so do you think this setup is fine? Also a local shop wants to charge me 800$ to install this with a alignment. Do you think I should pay this or do it myself? I believe the parts cost around 4-500$? I also have these BF LT265/65r17 that came with the truck but I heard these tires aren’t good for this truck. What tires do you recommend and do you recommend me going up a size since I will be lifting the truck? Thank you for your guys help

In my opinion , ..... 1st , u dont mention where u live , or where the truk spent most of its life. I live in Rustbelt usa. and if u do , or your truk did , take some of that cash and buy some beer , and crawl under it to take a good look at the frame .if its rusty , crusty - i wouldnt put much money towards " truk toys " cause many owners loose their tacos cause of frame degradation ..2nd , Its a 2013 . { probably in good shape }- but I would make sure the taco was very much up to date on maint. , and that any other mechanical issues r resolved , before buying " toys "---- ( you said lifting , etc. and u dont go off-roading -so your post is about pure cosmetics ) I realize this is off your topic ,but a better place to start IN MY OPINION . u asked for help ... and I hope this helps you
