    This question is for those of you with Bilstein 5100's set at 1.75 w/ stock coils on your 2016 Tacoma.

    (FYI: I've read & read & read... and searched and still have questions so please don't flame me).

    I'd like to use Add-a-leafs to lift the rear with the front at the 1.75 setting (I'll have 5100's on the rear too).
    -What brand AAL did you use?
    -How much did it lift it (essentially are you bro-lean, level, or raked?)
    I'd like it to be level or slightly raked (nothing more than stock though).
    -Any pics showing your truck from the side so I can see how the rear sits compared to the front?

    Next Question:
    Did you have to replace the UCA's to get back to factory alignment specs at the 1.75" setting? I understand the 2016 sits 1" higher, so essentially I'd be 2.75" over gen 2 tacos. This has me thinking I'd need new UCA's, but would like to know for sure from someone who has ran this setup.

    PS: Not that it matters but I'll be running 275/75-17 tires.

    Thanks in advance!
    Nathan

    When 3rd gen comes with 1" lift with factory alignment set at zero, that means they don't mess with alignment to set at factory specs to compensate for 1" lift. 1.75" lift on 3rd gen is 1.75 lift. You should be fine with stock ucas.

    Thanks xTacoma16x for input on the ucas. ;)

    Anybody else have thoughts? Would really love to know what you guys are using to lift the rear when you're billys are set at 1.75.

    Thanks,
    Nathan

    Will do Js16taco.

    I've been researching a lot on this site about this set up and have gotten many different results. Here are examples of what I've read:
    @.85 + no rear lift = level
    @1.75 + no rear lift = level
    @1.75 + 1" block in rear = level
    I've even read that one member had his front oem coils start sagging with this set up.

    With all the mixed setups that supposedly = level I'm not sure what to buy. Especially since I was leaning towards AALs for the rear (not blocks). If no one chimes in, I may just have to get the front done and measure it, then buy a rear set up and pay for the rear install separately. :annoyed:

    Anyone with 1.75 setting want to chime in...? :fingerscrossed:

    Set at 1.75 with stock springs and nothing on the rear. These were about 10 days ago and it has settled to almost level. I like the small reverse rake. Drives xlnt with no issues so far. 265/70/17taco5.jpg taco5.jpg

    Yeah. Alignment is perfect so far. What part of SD? I lived in PB and hope to return someday when I can afford it.

    Awesome! This is EXACTLY the type of info I was looking for!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Did you happen to take before and after measurements from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender?

    Thanks again!!!

    I didn`t. Just knew I wanted the nose either level or reversed. I did a lot of reading on here also before I decided on 1.75 and decided I could live with a little pre-runner rake vs. having to reset them from .85 down the road

    I'm running them at 1.75 with a 1.5" block in the back. It left me with a little bit of rake which is what I was going for. Note I keep about 150lbs of gear all the time so it squats it about 1/2".

    More great info! :thumbsup: Thanks for posting.

    Seems like a block in the back may be the direction I need to go.

    Thanks,

    Anyone running headstrong aal without the overload. They say 1.5 on that setup. Or i was thinking sumo spring. Just not sure what i want to do with the rear. I know i want the front set at 1.75. I eventually will have a canopy, so i expect that to cause a 1/2 inch squat. I also would like to end up with around a 1 inch or less rake. Kinda thinking I'd start out at 1.75 with sumos. Then add headstrong later if needed.

    Pbbound... That's just with the 5100 billys that have the adjustable spring perch set at 1.75"? Are they the 2006-2015 5100 billys?

    With the fronts at 1.75 you will need new upper control arms to get the alignment specs proper.
