    Hey Nathan, I'm getting my 5100s installed all around (with 1.75 up front and Deaver mini leaf pack AALs in rear - which will provide approx 1.5"). I'm also getting Spidertrax wheel spacers, because I plan to run 285/70/17's on stock wheels. Getting everything installed next week! Will post pics when done ;-)

    Finally got time to post pics of the new and improved!
    So my mods are:
    * 5100s all around (front set to 1.75)
    * Deaver 3 leaf mini pack in rear (gives approx. 1.5" lift)
    * Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers
    * 285 70 17 BFG KO2s
    * NFab Nerf bars (for the boss lady and little rugrats LOL)

    ** I kept the stock TRD Sport wheels (I actually like how they look). There's no rubbing (except this ONE time when I turned right a little harder than usual). No trimming/cutting needed.

    ** Rides just a tad stiffer than stock, but LOVE it! Height is DEFINITELY noticeable, mpg change is not much at all! Have gotten TONS of stares and compliments over the weekend. :thumbsup: Overall, ABSOLUTELY love it! A decent lift for a semi affordable price (Just under $3000 for EVERYTHING). TRUCK ON BROTHERS!!

    I did the exact same thing. I had mine on .85 for about 2 weeks then decided to move to the 1.75 notch. Actually, getting it done today. I believe you have to disassemble to raise the clip.

    So, at 1.75 is it true as the donny.brooke said?

    With the fronts at 1.75 you will need new upper control arms to get the alignment specs proper.

    I am getting the new 5100's and want to level my 16 TRD OR 2wd, my rear stock height is 1 1/2" higher so from what I see here the best setting might be the 1.75 but I thought over the 2" heights you would need a new UCA?

    I plan on using stock coils and rear pal's Just 5100's on all 4 for my level!

    Well, I'm not sure yet? The .85 setting actually leveled my truck, so I would think 1.75 would have a (bro lean) if you didn't have the rear lifted.
    I raised my 5100s yesterday to the 1.75 notch with a 1.5 block in the rear (I prefer the ride of a block and I'm not a hardcore off roader) and I may have a 1/4" rake now in the rear. I think it looks great and seems to ride and handle pretty good so far. I'm getting the alignment done tomorrow so I'll let you know how that goes.....
    I have stock coils with no issues. I think you should go with the .85 setting for a level. I think the 1.75 puts you around 2"...

    I set mine at 1.75 and my alignment wasn't perfect but within range. Tech at the shop that installed my lift said there would be no premature tire wear and it doesn't pull heavily at all.
    @2000man put his at 1.75 and left the rear stock. When he showed me his ride, it looked fine. Maybe he can chime in?

    For me to get my alignment specs where I wanted them I needed new upper control arms. My truck drives amazing and wouldnt want it any other way.

    I'm very happy with the manors of my truck at the 1.75 setting. I was actually surprised how well it drives now

    Figure since I created this thread, I needed to come back and update it.

    Here's what I added:
    * Bilstein 5100s all around (front set to 1.75)
    * Deaver Single Add-A-Leaf in the rear (1.5" lift)
    * 275 70 17 BFG KO2s
    * 17" ƒ(x) Pro Wheels in dark high-gloss gunmetal finish

    Before / After:

    More pics can be found in my build thread (link is in my signature below). If you're more into Instagram, follow my trucks build page there @my_yota_obsession

    Enjoy,

    So with using the 5100's I don't see many people using new UCA's. Is that correct?
    As I'm looking to buy new OME 888x coils and getting 5100's set at .85 clip in the front and an add-a-leaf and 5100's in the rear. With some 285's or bust out the tools and get 295's to fit.
    So no need for UCA's? Or just bite the bullet and get some?

    Just depends on how much you lift the truck. I only went up 1.75". My alignment is not 100% perfect but within factory spec (barely).

    So it depends on how much lift you get from the OME 888x coils on top of the .85 setting.

    Thanks brother! You and I might be in the minority, but I dig the factory wheels haha

    From what I've gathered, this combo with the 888x coils and 5100's set @ .85 will give three inches of lift. So in assuming new UCA's will be needed to get everything in spec with the alignment. But then I see people running 3" lift setups and using stock UCA's. May as well bite the bullet and get some nice looking Total Chaos UCAS. If anything they look pretty.

    yeah, sounds like you'll need new UCA's with that much lift. Be sure to research UCA's before you purchase. I've heard some are adjustable and some aren't. I think you'd want the adjustable kind. But I may be wrong, as I haven't done my homework on UCAs yet. Maybe someone can chime in and confirm.

    OME 888 set at .85 is way to much for suspention to handle, you will literally have 0 down travel. I run 887 at .85 and thinkinking about setting back to 0, but ideally I would want 1/2" drop so 888 at zero would be perfect. At 2.5" lift with 888 I would go with LR UCAs simply because you can adjust them, if you get TC be ready to do CMC or running 3.0 caster, unless you do 888 at .85 then TC UCAs will work fine
