Just picked up my new Taco and as the truck sits now it seems to be a little less than 2" down in the front measuring from the center of the hub. My question is for those who have info on this setup, would running the Bilsteins up front at the 1.75 setting get me about level and would the ride still be decent at this setting as well? Thanks!

you'd be better off getting the 5100 and pairing it with a toytec coil for that 1.75", but just the 5100 should work too

That is the setup i'm running. 5100s in the front on stock coils. The ride is a little stiffer but its not bad. The truck sits between 0.25-0.5" lower in the front now. If I had it to do over again I might would order some different springs but your talking more money when just replacing the shocks works fine.

1.75 in the front and I have 4 factory leafs in the rear and it is level and the ride is much better than stock. I thought stock was way too spongy. It is now firm and very smooth. You will also need it aligned after installing.
I would also get the 5100s for the rear...you will see the difference in the actual shocks and feel it in the ride. I don't think the coil route is necessary unless you plan on putting an aftermarket bumper or do some heavy duty off roading. But for going around town and light duty off-roading...5100s on each corner is the best route.

Some people also suggest getting this 1/4" plate to make the driver side perfectly level....I don't have the plate and the 1/4" difference is imperceptible to the eye
