Okay - Yes I am new to this group. I have read many many many threads in regards to Bilstein 5100s but I am more confused then ever. Here is my deal...I have a 2012 tacoma Prerunner with 3 leafs in the back. The truck has 19k on it. I don't really tow or go off-road much. Looking for more of an aggressive look with a lift of 1.5 - 2". I bought the Billy 5100s for both the front and rear. I am interested in leveling with a little lift. Everything on my Taco is stock. Can I install without having to add a leaf or something in the rear? I was thinking 1.75 setting for the front. Somebody please tell me if this is a good set up. I want to use the same springs/coils that came stock.

    Thank You all in advance!

IMO I would set them at 1.75" which should set you where you want to be at in the front. If it ends up too nose high for you then you can add a custom lift block on the rear from streetstaco.com They have 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", or 1" blocks. A block that small won't cause you any issues.

What Pudge said ^^^^ I'm a little nose high, have the TSB springs and 5100's up front set to 1.75. You will be nose high if you go with 1.75

I'm a little nose high with the 1.75 setting up front. The rear shocks are stock.

Damn - They are some sweet Tacos. Thanks for the info. I really want to set at 1.75 in front, so how do I achieve this in the best possible way? Lift blocks or AAL? Like stated before, it's mainly for the look as I don't go off road often. I also want it to drive nice so if the AAL is better then the block for that reason, then let me know. Any ideas of what AAL I should get. I called about the TSB and they told me that it's only up to 2011 Tacomas. One last question. I have the 18" chrome wheels and want to get new wheels and tires. 16 or 17" wheels?? Whats the max size tire without trimming?

    Thanks guys!!

OP.. might I suggest the same setup I have. 5100s at all 4, 1.75 setting up front, Wheeler's 3 leaf Progressive AAL.

1.75" up front lift, 2" out back lift. Ride is pretty good. You'll be around $450 for everything shipped to your door.

AAL for sure. Wheelers makes a good one. I have the 2" one in the rear from them and 5100s all around with Old Man Emu 886 springs. It works well for me. uploadfromtaptalk1430369702951.jpg

I like the AAL over a block personally. I feel that it provides a better sense of stability IMO. Also the peace of mind that the AAL is sandwiched in my leaf pack so it's almost like it belongs there. They were very simple to install with the help of a few friends.
