Is this possible to do? I want to upgrade my shocks. I will be lifting the far future.... But would it be fine to swap these in? On the lowest setting up front though, of course.

    Thanks.

Awesome! Looks great too. Did you get any lift from it?

I have 5100's on the highest setting with factory 595lb rate springs and they are great. I'm at 38/1/4" at the bottom of the fender flare.

I'm still scared to use a coil compressor...

Its not that bad, just take it slow and think of each step and you'll be fine

You don't need a coil compressor. I've installed 5100s on two different Tacos and you just use the weight of the truck to decompress/compress the spring. Here's a 2 part video that walks you through it step-by-step https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5E6u7dC7EHg

I had 5100's put on, set to 2nd setting so it rides level, then put an ARB bumper on later. I never changed the stock springs but didn't seem to affect ride height any.

Lots of people do it. Nothing wrong with running OEM springs with 5100's

Thanks for the video @Mjordan I've been looking for a quality YouTube tutorial that does it that way. Thanks.

Yeah it's a 2-part video so make sure you watch them both. I've literally never done anything to a vehicle before installing my 5100s, but I'm pretty handy and it was a breeze following the tutorial with all of the right tools. Only thing I had to buy was a torque wrench.
