    Hello all,

I've been unable to find an answer to this one but if it has already been answered please let me know. I'm looking to add 6112s to a 2nd Gen 2.7l/4 cylinder Access Cab Tacoma.

All of the information available for which settings to use for the 6112s are based on 6 cylinder 2nd Gens. Does anyone have experience installing 6112s on 4 cylinder 2nd Gens and if so what setting did you use?

    Thanks,

Welcome to Tacoma World. I doubt there is a significant difference between the 4cyl and 6cyl but I could be wrong.

Which setting you choose depends on a) what your rear suspension height is, and b) what your goals are for the front. We don't have that information from you, so there's no way to give you good answers.

    Hey thanks for the welcome!

My rear suspension height is currently 2 inches but I'd like to make it 1.5. (with a new set of leafs)

My front is currently 2.5 but I'd like to make it 2 (with 6112a). I used a kit with spacers (all I could afford at the time) and I've since realized the error of my ways and am looking to switch them out.

Agreed I figure there is some weight difference between the 4cyl and 6cyl that you could use to figure out the right locations. Just wondering if anyone's done this and what their results are, also wondering if there's any mounting issues I'm not aware of (seems the same to me).

I think the drivers side should be one snap ring higher than the passenger to account for the Tacoma lean. That's all I know based off of my Baja suspension (6112s).
