Where are you guys picking these up these days? At the shop that installs them or a group buy somewhere?

Its definitely not needed, i saw a pole on here where about half the folks with a 2 inch lift had driveline vibrations after a 2 inch lift. You could wait to see if you get the vibrations and then install, some get the vibrations and some don’t. When i lift im going to install it as a preventative because i dont want to open things up twice.

Lol the ecgs bushing is not for driveline vibes. It is definitely worth doing while you have the truck apart. The bushing is made to replace the OEM needle bearing that fails on every Tacoma and causes vibes. It’s in the front diff where the cv axle goes into it.

Did the exact same lift and except added a pair of ICON UCAs.

    Installed the carrier bearing drop.

I did the ECGS bushing after noticing a vibration from 20 - 40 MPH. Vibe is gone.....

So is there any way to get a lift with not changing the ECGS? I thought that UCA help.

I was not able to find a better price with the coil overs assembled. They also had fantastic customer service.

I ordered this kit last week, waiting for the front coils to be assembled.

    https://www.rogue-offroad.com/product-p/tacostage4-.htm

Also just put on Falken Wildpeaks AT3Ws 265/70/17 with the TRD Replica Rims on Saturday. I had to take off the wind damper in the front (which I didn't like anyway) so it didn't rub. It Comes about a quarter inch away from rubbing the back of the wheel well when I turn but no rub at all.

I bet every single Tacoma would benefit from it. But people with stock Tacoma’s probably don’t know about it or people associate the vibe to other things. Just my opinion but it’s such a cheap fix, why wouldn’t you do it?

I followed this tutorial and it went as planned. Download it to your device and bring the device out in the garage to review as you perform the ECGS mod.

why is everyone so afraid to replace a bearing? if that's a big problem you shouldn't be lifting much less offroading. just saying ;)

So, today I made a stop at 2 local shops(4WP, ORW). They both never heard of the needle bearing bushing being replaced. They both told me they do a diff drop spacer, and that they NEVER had any problem. That what they said.

If you use 4WP as a gauge you have bigger problems than not knowing anything about your truck or suspension for that matter.

Yes, just do the lift and see if you need it or not.
UCA has nothing to do with lifting. They control wheel alignment.

Do whatever you want bro it’s your truck. Don’t come on here asking for advice then rebuttal with “shops have never heard of it”

Do you homie. But don’t post a new post asking why you have vibes after a lift.
