6112’s are definitely solid for the money. For me I was ready for an upgrade so went with Kings. With my build and weight etc. went with @AccuTune Offroad tuned shocks to my rig. Great bunch of guys over there and know there stuff. To answer your question yes I should’ve waited and bought Kings. IMO I look at it as a learning experience. Not looking back now

1.1" up front and nothing in the rear. I just wanted a subtle leveled look.

I ran 6112s up front with 5125s in the rear I did 3" leafs in the rear so I needed longer than the 5160s were. Anyone try running the 5160 on a 3" yet?

6112/5160 with Icon RXT on stage 1. Sitting on well used 265/75/16 Toyo AT3. Thinking about the new 255/85/16 wildpeak.

I got more lift out of the rear than I’d hoped. I think I’m on 9/10 in the front to balance out and not rake too much.

I honestly have a tiny bit of buyers remorse (gasp). I’m hoping the back sags enough that I can drop the front 1-2 clips.

As for ride, I’m pretty happy. 100% on road at this point and nose dive is decreased. Turn wallow is also reduced. They are a bit stiffer than the OEM, but also able to absorb more abuse (speed bumps and bad highway). I was hitting bump stops on heavy highway expansion joints before.

I have a set of headstrong 3leaf add a leaf that I bought and still haven’t opened. I was going to install those hoping for a more mild lift, then convinced myself to go all in.

I picked up a bit of shudder 22-28mph, and now some squeak. The latter I think I can address. The former…. I don’t want to add more lift, but that’s what’ll happen if I add a shim. Suspect I’ll have to do so which will negate any ‘new leaf sag’ I’m hoping for.

I actually considered trying to pull one leaf and seeing what happens. That would be going ‘off label’ for lack of a better descriptor.

Are you guys seeing your 6112 settle after a few mos?

Getting mine installed this weekend and want a subtle even lift. Got a a half inch spacer block for my rear. Debating on either the 1.7” or 1.3” for the front. Will the 1.7” front eventually settle down to even out my rear? Or will I not even notice a difference of .2” anyways… #overthinker

    6112/5160s with Icon stage 2 leaf’s.
Following. My 6112/5160’s should be here soon. The 6112’s are set at 8/10 currently, and going with Icon RXT in the back. I think I’ll do stage 2 because of the ARE shell, but not sure yet.

    #defintelyanoverthinkerbutsoamisoicantjudge

We generally don't see much settle on a 6112 kit unless someone has a bunch of extra weight up front and are on the original 6112 springs. Do you want the level look, or do you want a little bit of rear rake remaining?

Go stage 2 and don't look back. That ~150Lbs that your ARE has is enough to engage that pack no problem.

Also, shameless plug but if you don't have your RXTs yet we've got them on the shelf here at Hotshot Offroad :D

OME rake is ~1" so you're now at about 1.5" higher in the rear. I personally would go with the 1.3" if you want to avoid the nose-high effect.

    Heck yeah looks great!
I generally account for ~1.25” of factory rear rake on the 3G Tacoma when we plan out suspensions.

with that being said, i assume that a 2 inch front lift usually results in a tail low stance?

Installed 6112/5160 and Icon aal with overload spring. Bought them from suspensionlifts.com pre-assembled at 11/9 setting. Didn’t measure before installing and I couldn’t tell if they were in the right settings for the 6112. I did measure overall length of the 6112 and they were around 27” and 26”. I wasn’t expecting the rear to be much higher or maybe the 6112 wasn’t set at the right (11/9) setting maybe. What do you all think? Is this how it’s suppose to look? Also attached my alignment with stock uca.
