    265 75. 16 tire. I think I'm close to 1.5" all around

Anyone know how much settling I can expect with the Bilsteins? I'm measuring 37" from floor to flare on all 4 corners with the 6112's set on 3/4 and a 1.5" Icon AAL with the 5160's out back.

Of course I'm an idiot and didn't measure before the install. I'm not sure if I got more than the 1.1" expected up front or less than the 1.5" out back. I do have an ARE topper weighing down the rear some but I expected at least some rake.

That topper will weigh down the rear. AAl doesn’t hold much weight Imo

Yeah, it's definitely not helping. Looking at other threads, 37" seems to be stock height out back. I didn't think the topper weighed me down that much.

Tire size? (makes a difference in that measurement)

I've read from some users that the top notch can make your ride pretty stiff/rough. Does anyone know if that's true? I was looking to do 2" front and a 1.5" aal but I wouldn't be opposed to 1.75" in the front either. I figure I'd get a decent amount of lift with the suspension and 33" pizza cutters.

Edit: I have the newer 11-notch shocks

Ride quality is very subjective. IMO it’s fine.

Bilstein 5100’s with ome 881 coils on lowest setting, JBA upper control arms, LCE header, 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeaks.
what’s all that grease doing there on the lower control arm? That don’t look right.

I’m thinking of going with the new 6112 as well on the 11 and 9 notch but I do have a metal from bumper and a winch as well plus I’m adding a roof rack, rock sliders and bed rack as well. In the back I’m adding stage 2 deaver

It's probably undercarriage coating to protect against salt which in turn protects against rust.

Wow, nice work assembling the coilover using the truck. I’ve considering doing this….how sketchy did it seem to you?

very small rake, but it looks pretty level from some angles for sure. still love the 6112/5160 set up, but I have it on a different tacoma now. perfect for my needs.

Has anyone come up with a solution to keep the brushed finish on the rear shocks and remote reservoirs looking good? A few upper mid-west winters have degraded the nice brushed appearance on mine.

Wondering if the brushed surface has a clear coat application on it where a 3M scrub pad would take the finish off?

IMO I don’t believe they are clear coated
