Hey I'm new to Tacomaworld still trying to navigate the website correctly.
Anyway I've put about 250 miles on these Bilstein 6112s.
The passenger side what looks like a dust cap popped out of place. Nothing is leaking, I've contacted Bilsteinlifts where I purchased them they suggest buying new ones.

Has anyone had this problem? Can I just push it back into place?

I'd clean it as much as is possible. Use some sort of parts cleaner to get it clean.
Add a drop of red loctite to a couple places and try to press it back into place.

I suspect that's a press fit, that shouldn't pop off the way it did (obviously), but may also be hard to get back into place.
Seems kinda ridiculous for Billy to not cover it under some sort of warrantee. Good luck.

    Work in progress...
Hmmm, that is strange. I would jack the front up so you have a little more space between the coils. Next, clean it up with a pick and a clean rag. See if you can pop it back into place. If it doesn't stay in place I would be contacting Bilstein and asking them "what's up." Your gonna have to fanangle something in there to try to push it into place. Long skinny needle noses or something.

Since they have been in and out of stock it's been difficult trying to get the process going. The customer service department says buy another set and return these which I will do but spending $700 again then waiting for the refund it's kinda weird.
I'm bringing it back to where I got it installed and see what they say about it.

    Thank you all

If u can buy a set for 700$ that means they have some on the shelf. They can pull the one off the shelf and give it to you. 250 miles? What's gotten into people, smdh.
