I looked a few places. Found the front shocks alone to be about $700 seems crazy to me but I don't know much about them

So I'm torn between to two options.

6112's with 5160's in the rear with 1.5" AAL and LR UCA's (2.5" upfront, 1.5" rear) Roughly $1500

    OR

5100's all around with 887 springs, Icon progressive 3 leaf, LR UCA's (3" upfront, 2" rear with overload in) Roughly $1200

I do not do much off roading, nothing extreme, and with mostly be installed for looks.

Need to be persuaded in one or the other

Can anyone comment on the ride difference between the two shock options? I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new set of either, but I'd love to hear some reviews to help me in my decision.

So they have less travel than a 5100? That can't be right. The pics I've seen of the 5100 next to a 6112 the lengths aren't the same. But according to this they are the same extended length.

I'm just wondering if it's wrong info you got. I mean they still list the body as 60mm on their website. And if the collapsed length number you got is correct then they have less travel which I find hard to believe.

I'll give them a call as well and see what I get.
