    Sure but also A lot of people spend thousands of dollars and then feel an emotional commitment or obligation to defend their decisions/investments. This weighs heavily on the "subjectivity factor"...see it every day here on the third gen forum and elsewhere.

    What are you even trying to contest here? He's not defending anything and he's not saying anything subjective. He's providing general, factual, education on how suspension works.

    The part about people with 6112s on notch 5 or 6 not complaining? You think they're actually unhappy but they don't want to show that they regret their purchase? LOL.

    Just responding to his first two sentences. Yea we see a lot of subjective feedback here. If I had a dime for every comment or post where I see people claim a spacer lift rides better than stock.... :rolleyes:

    I guess but I don't think that's a factor when we're talking about a little extra preload. Cougars just explained with math and facts why it isn't going to transform your truck into a bouncy wheelbarrow. There's nothing subjective about that.

    ...Just realized you're part of that weird troll group that included that guy who claimed he was an engineer and had proof that the 3rd gen's valve body leaked and there was some weird conspiracy at Toyota, and it turned out his "proof" was he parked on an incline to imitate a "leveled" truck or something ridiculous that no real engineer would consider scientific.

    100% false. Spacer lift sacrifices ride quality for cheap lift.

    It changes the geometry of your suspension... granted I'm sure the truck isn't gonna drive like a "bouncy wheel barrel," as most wheel barrels I come in contact with don't have any type of suspension. But I can tell you from experience a spacer lift is not the way to go if you want anytype of performance and not just looks.

    6 notches, 3rd gen 6112s have 6

    I set driver side on #5, passenger side to #4. Driver side is one notch higher to account for lean based on Bilstein 3rd Gen 6112 install instructions

    Hey Smitty, is yours leveled? I did the same in the front... and with basically the same AAL (Icon) but have more rake than stock at over ~1.5. Do you think the rear will settle anymore? Thinking of going 6/6 to get it higher in the front... but will wait a another week or two.

    sure looks level for the most part but measurements show front is about 1" lower from rear (hub center to bottom of fender flare)
