    I bought some new bilstein b6 4600 shocks all the way around my truck. anyone have some tips for installation? id like to not break anything lol

    Noice.

    one of the first places to look would be using the google search feature on this site, check out the mods and tutorials section, and YouTube. Timmy the tool man has pretty much the most comprehensive videos on how to do stuff with these trucks. He’s often working on a 4Runner in the videos, but it translates to the Tacoma.

    My advice, use some strong jackstands. Go slow with undoing any bolts, especially if rusty. And ATF is a superb rust cutter if you need it.

    When i did mine. I had to use an extractor socket and breaker bar on 4 out of 6 of the top bolts on the front coil overs. I had to cut off the other two. Hope yours ain’t that rusty

    Are you swapping your coil springs yourself? If so, go very slow and careful with the spring compressor.

    yes im going to be doing them myself. hopefully they don't bust out lol. those things are live grenades
