sorry in advanced for this, but I have a 2006 TRD OR AC Prerunner, and I'm looking for some oem bilstein take offs to replace my tired suspension. Will all 2nd gen Bilsteins fit my 2006? I've heard conflicting info that the newer Tacos won't.... I just want to make sure b4 I purchase something.

    Thanks all!

If buying new, why not go with Bilstein 5100's? They are ride height adjustable, but even if your planning on leaving them at stock height, they're still a better shock than the OEM Bilstein's.

    Bilstein 4600 shocks.
Says looking for OEM takeoffs, but I agree with you. If replacing, now would be a great time to upgrade.

This 100%. I recently upgraded from my original shocks to the 5100's and cannot be happier.

My truck has 164K and after installing the new shocks it definitely freshened up the ride. I think Billstein 5100's can be had for around $320 for all four corners. I got a deal through Jet.com when I ordered mine and saved another 60 bucks but Im not sure if the site carries them anymore.

Also, I believe yes is the answer to your original question all 2nd gen stock shocks should fit.
