I'm in the process of getting new shocks for my 01 Taco. I found a set of rear fox 2.0's for a very reasonable price. My question is would I be able to run Bilstein 4600's in the front and the fox's in the rear? Would there be any negative effect to running different brand shocks together?

That would work fine. The fox shocks will outperform the bilsteins in the front but that’s okay.
