yes, most major manufactures have a MAP policy.

What was the price before the MAP policy was enforced?

 

MAP policy only affects the advertised price, not the price it can be sold for.

So while advertised prices may have risen 2/15, it doesn't mean the actual sale price has to rise. The consumer can call / email and receive better pricing.

Or am I missing something?
