I’m lookin at this exact set up as OP...I’m really wanting a 1.5” up front with 1.5” in the rear..want to keep factory rake...having a tough time deciding on the 885 or 887, reading that the OME coils start sagging beyond than expected for some. Since you have ran both..which did you prefer? Did the 887 sag to 1.5”? Beyond their 2.0” or did the 885’s sag much below the 1.5” advertised? Most likely going with the HS 3 leaf out the back overload left out....of course I’m trying to convince myself the 6112/5160 albeit $400 more expensive is totally worth it for the little OR driving I do. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

The 885 were older so they didnt sag as much as some of the newer springs.

Preference is definitely the 887 with UCAs.

Awesome man, thanks for the reply . Would I need UCA’s if I went with her newer sag inducing 887’s you think? Clean lookin rig by the way.

It depends, I was getting a little bit of uneven tire wear (excess camber) with the 885s despite decent alignment numbers so I was looking to upgrade the UCAs to correct that. I figured, why not bump up the springs too.

Even though the 887s have settled a bit, I'm happy with the rake and more importantly, how it drives now. It feels better planted and more precise in steering.

The old suspension felt like a compromise, this new one with 887s and UCAs feels better suited to my needs.

I have this kit on my ‘14 OR with 887 springs and 3aal rear. I also added SPC UCAs. No sway bar relocate, cb drop, diff drop, or extended brake lines. Rides much better than stock OR suspension. Very happy with my setup.
