New member here needing some help. Just purchased a 2014 Tacoma TRD OR used. After purchase I notices the rear was about an inch lower than the front. I chaulked this up to a blown rear shock after purchasing the 3 in Toytec add a leaf lift with bilstein 5100s all the way around. Just had my lift put on and the front is a good 1 1/2 inches taller than the rear. Guy said he didnt see a front spacer on there before putting the new lift on. Has me thinking either Im missing a leaf in the rear or he missed the front spacer and left it on?? Any help is appreciated Ill post pics as well

You got that right. Here is what it's supposed to look like without a spacer

Yeah, you should have done it yourself, instead of the hack that did it.

The AAL is in the wrong spot in leaf pack too... should be above the overload spring. Unless I'm looking at that wrong...

AHHHH GET YOUR MONEY BACK, and find someone qualified to take care of the job. I find it hard to believe that anyone who would pull a stunt like this would take any amount of time torquing anything back to spec. Very negligent.

The AAL is in the correct location but I'm confused as to why it's so short???

The AAL is from Toytec lifts. Not sure why its so much shorter than the rest but thats the correct AAL according to Toytec.

I would at least take your truck back and have him remove the spacers and torque everything down when reinstalling. Oh and don't pay any extra for that.

mine is ToyTec also, i went out to take a picture and turns out mine is the same... although it doesnt look bad, the close nature of the pic must be exaggerating the positioning. my bad.

I have the toytec AAL too and mines not that short; I'll have to take pictures but I know mine sticks out past the overload spring. I don't know; I'll have to take a look at mine tomorrow morning. I could be wrong but I am darn sure that mine was indeed longer than the overload spring.

I put a toytec AAL on mine back in 2008. Just went to the garage to eyeball it. Front side is maybe 1/4" shorter than the overload and the rear side is about 3" longer.
