About to do my rear lift and can't decide on which shocks to get.
Bilsteins are around $170 and the Auto Zone brand is around $80.
Do they ride different? Is it more of a status thing with the Bilsteins?

I just bought and installed a pair of extended Billies from Toytec. Use the discount, around 200 for the pair. Toytec will treat you better than Autozone anyday.
    Billies have much better valving.
Better have a good bump stop, or at least 3" in the rear (I have airbags (with 2" spacer) with daystar cups, and an AAL) so you don't bottom out on compression.

Already got the fronts installed so I'm stuck with the $170 price for just rears.

Anybody else? What other shock is everyone else using?
How will I know which shock from Auto Zone will fit?
