ShockSurplus hasn't been great at voluntarily giving updates like you, @memario1214 , so that's appreciated.

For anyone still waiting on ShockSurplus, after a self-initiated chat, they said, "... we are starting to see some inventory roll in. I think we had 20 or so kits come in yesterday, and another 60-70 or so should be in, if not today, in the next couple of days. Bilstein is planning on getting out 100-200 kits a week until they are caught up, most of which are allocated to us, so the drought should be over fairly soon. Your order is one of the older in the bunch just by looking at the date so I would presume your kit should be getting built from either the first or second shipment I mentioned and could be out as soon as next week. The assembly team is prioritizing these kits as well so we will mostly only be doing Tacoma/4Runner 6112 assemblies these next few weeks."

When I was shopping for my lift a couple years back Bilstein was indefinitely backordered for 8100's (over 12 months at the time IIRC). I ended up picking up some ADS coilovers instead due to those backups and I don't regret it (even those were a 4 month wait fwiw), but this is nothing new for them. There have been supply chain issues again. :/ It happens but it is what it is, just have to be patient.

We do our best anyway! I'm a customer at the end of the day myself so I know what getting left in the dark feels like. I've tried to model what we do around that as best as possible with what little spare time I have to provide updates.

As an update for everyone - The first rush has shown up to us as of today, and it looks like transit damage losses will be zero rejects :). Assemblies will begin early next week (hoping to have all shipped by next Wednesday), and we will be able to address all outstanding orders as of now with a current surplus of +2 as we were able to snipe a couple of extra that one of our distributors inbounded. If you have an order with another company, assuming they placed stocking orders prior to 3/14 they likely got their hands on at least a few units here on this latest run.
