I'm browsing shocks on Rockauto and am a little bit confused. From what I found here on TW the rear ones are the same right? I can just put two same bilsteins for the rear and be good. But the front is confusing. I have options: front left, RWD front right, RWD and my truck is 4WD. If I look for front 4WD I only see one option and it doesn't specify right or left. Can anyone shed some light into it? Should I just order the front one twice and it would work? I have 2011 taco. Thanks! Screenshot_20240902-232201.png

5 lug is a completely different truck if you have a 4wd truck.

That 2nd to last bilstein is the only front on that list that will fit (24325462)

Ok thanks! So 4WD doesn't have left and right like the RWD? I can just order 2 of the same and it'll be good left and right?

    Depends on what you want.

tried 4600 and 5100. Wasn’t good. That’s about all RockAuto offers.
Those I got from 4WP I believe because it had the best price at the time and no shipping cost due to store local pickup.

got 6112/5160 which is better. From hotshot offroad.

The first 3 are for a 5 lug truck, the next two are for 6 lug , the last one is for 6 lug with up to 1”lift.

I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself but does it mean the one I'm looking for doesn't have left/right specification? Or it needs front left front right but rockauto just doesn't have it? Thank you!

The Bilsteins won’t have a left/rt as you will re use the oe coil, make sure to put the coil back on the correct side and you’ll be fine.

Technically the 5100s (the last one you blacked out) will work just fine too at 0 lift.

Yes. The 5100 will work fine on the rear. I’d match all the way around, either all 4600 or all 5100. Also the 5100s are digressively valved so some people find them a bit stiff.

You can get 6112/5160 on rock auto for a good deal if you want something bigger than those options
