While on the subject of UCA. I've seen so many installations but none ever spoke of LOAD before final torque???

That varies between brands of UCA. Some you can torque in the air. Some have to be torqued with weight of vehicle on the ground. If that's what you are referring to.

Did anyone compare these to the Dirt Kings? Are they the same? How about the tube diameter?

Dirt Kings are $65 cheaper. Getting Bilstein 6112/5160 and 1.5" to 2" lift and doing UCAs to be safe. Like the idea of it all being Bilstein branded, but if Dirt Kings are cheaper and beefier...

They both look comparable. You won’t go wrong either way.

They both use poly bushings and the bilsteins appear to also use a moog ball joint at least just looking at the photos but may be different.

You probably don’t need them at 1.5” of lift though. If you net a solid 2” of lift they can’t hurt.

agree on if 100% needed or not. Doing it preemptively to be safe.

The DirtKing dust cap fit on the top to cover your zerk for the ball joint. I talked to an engineer at Bilstein and he said Dirt King made these for Bilstein. So they are pretty much very similar. If not the same.

FYI I can confirm the Dirt King covers work on the Bilstein UCAs. Not sure why Bilstein didn't just private label them. I don't know if dust caps are required to use or just good practice, but it seems weird that Bilstein doesn't market a solution for this.

Truck rides great with 6112/5160 combo, Icon RXT and Bilstein UCAs. Can't say if the UCAs make a huge difference or not since I had them installed from the get go on the upgrade. Read a few reviews where people did the upgrade without new UCAs but ride was squirrelly. After installing aftermarket UCAs ride got much better. So I went for it up front even thought the 1.5" lift in front did not exactly "require it" based on most of the feedback I got.

I bought the Dirt King dust covers for my Bilstein UCAs.. they fit like a glove.. I had @thedecalgarage IG make me some custom vinyl Bilstein to cover the DK on the caps.. it looks legit  .. I’ll submit some pics next week when I have them all installed

    Looks dope!
How's the ride? Does your steering wheel shake when accelerating?

is B now making dust caps for these or did you make your own B decals to put over the dirt kings?

Just got these installed last week. Anyone else have the squeaks with these UCAs? I can’t imagine it being anything else as these were the new addition.
