Once you get them on get some DirtKing dust covers to cover up the ball joint zerk. You'll love them.:fingerscrossed:

Never heard of a 1 ton shop press, not sure. The one I used was a 12 ton shop press, like from Harbor freight.

Thanks for the quick reply! I could’ve sworn I saw a lil tabletop 1 ton press on Harbor Freights website for under $100. Will update the thread if I go down that route and it works.

Maybe try renting a ball joint press from Autozone. Can't say it will work for sure, but if I didn't have a press that's what I would do. Free to try.

I was able to press my bushing in using a vice. It took a few tries, but once I got the first one in, the other seven went in faster. Kinda weird how the instructions say to press them in "dry" I added a bit of grease to the ends. Planning to install the UCAs today.

Did you grease the bushings through the zerks before or after the install? And what about the ball joints, before or after? I picked up a tube of Prothane for the bushings and a tube of Lucas Red 'N' Tacky #2 for the ball joints.

I finally got the passenger side done. Did you use the supplied castle nut or stick with the OEM one? I think it’s 25mm or 26mm, and I don’t have a socket that size. I also noticed you used the OEM brake line mount.

Yes I used the OEM nut.. not too difficult just time consuming (make sure everything is greased before installing) I learned the hard way LOL

Well damn, I think I’m screwed. I only greased the ends of the bushings since the instructions said to press them in dry, so there’s a little on them, but I didn’t fully coat them before pressing. What grease are you using? I picked up the recommended Prothane grease. The instructions say to use it on the zerks for both the bushings and ball joints.

Well should be good then.. your zerks are greased as well as your bushings.. as long as your not getting any noise when driving and articulating

For anyone wondering if the ball joint press works for the bushings, it does! I wouldn’t have been able to do it though, had I not picked up a M14 x 1.50 bolt and nut from the hardware store. I used the bolt to mostly keep everything together and to guide the bushing in. Trying to do it without the bolt was an extreme pain in the ass and would not recommend. For anyone interested in trying:
