The trimming that may have to be done, will it be of the mudflaps and/or the front of the wheel wells?

    I have no lift , and run 265 / 70 / 17 MT's . These tires are the same size as 265 / 75 / 16 .

I have no fender rub , and no mudflap rub .

So what would 285/70/17 fit like. wider footprint, little lower sidewall then the 265/75. I just got rear tsb done and 5100's should be here in days. I think i will have no issues. Anyone?

Had the TSB done to mine about a year ago. After much reading and talking with the folks where billies were purchased, I went with 1.75. At first it looked fine and level. Then the TSB began to settle and if there was any incline the truck began to look nose high. The final kicker was hauling any kind of a load or pulling a trailer. This past deer season hauling just camping gear and a trailer with two four wheelers the truck was embarrassingly nose high. I have since adjusted to .85 and all is right in the world again.

The problem is being out an additional $150.00 to have the billies removed, compressed, and reinstalled, and another $79.00 for the alignment.

The TSB will settle. If you haul any kind of a load and do not want to shoot for the moon, trust that you will be dollars ahead to go with .85.

Thanks for all the help guys. I can't wait to get them put on. I have to wait until the 12th to get the shocks on and then I am having the dealer mount and blaance the tires and do the alignment. The alignment is free because of the tsb. They did not do it yet and the service tech said he would do it for me after my shocks were put on. The reason that I am having the dealer do the tires is so that if the mark them up in any way, they can be responsible for ordering the replacements.

Rear Suspension TSB, Bilstein 5100 on all 4 corners-fronts set at 1.75". BFG A/T's @ 265/75/16; Access LE Roll-up cover; Iron Cross Tube SS Steps; Fumoto valve; WeatherTech Liners; AFE Pro-Dry; front side windows tinted 20%; TW Decal!
Damn- do you have pictures of the 3 1/4 inches, that seems pretty high:eek:

BTW, I recently installed 265/75/16 Revo 2's with the Billies set at 1.75" and no rub at all.

These pics are after the TSB and the Billies set at 1.75- factory tires:

It was just a tad when they first went on which is when that pic was taken but they settled to level and now that I have the TSB done it has rake again.
