Bilstein's installed (front) or wheels?

For fathers day I essentially got permission for one or the other. Currently I'm on stock 16" wheels and Falken high country tires, which were put on just a few thousand miles before I bought it last week. Maybe 5k on them.

My fear is if I go wheels I'm going to limit myself as there seems to be many more choices for tires at 17" but I don't want to replace the Falkens yet.

Would getting the Bilsteins installed up front to level it look bad for 6ish months on the stock wheels? Then around Christmas time get some black wheels, maybe tires?

 

I tend to agree which is why I'm leaning shocks .. I've also thought about just painting the wheels black? I have no painting skills .. any clue what a shop would cost to paint them, or can they be powdercoated? If so $$?

 

Personally, run those tires until they're bald. Don't sweat shocks unless you need them. I would buy a HELLWIG rear swaybar. The only bad thing I hear about the sway bar is people regretting they didn't put it on sooner.

I put the stock plastic chrome hubcaps on my truck and couldn't be happier; simple to clean.
