    Hello Forum,

1st, let me say THANK YOU to Wheelers Off Road for the speedy delivery, excellent packaging, & excellent communication! I am VERY HAPPY with them & I like the complimentary "Wheelers Offroad" sticker they provided:

    Original height of vehicle with
    P265/70r16:
    L.F. 34 1/2
    R.F. 34 3/4
    L.R. 35 3/4
    R.R. 35 1/2

    Current height of vehicle with
    LT265/75r16,
Toytec 1/4" spacer on left front strut
    Billstein 5100's set @ .85
    Hellwig (981) EZ990 ADD-A-LEAF 1.5"
    L.F. 36 2/16
    R.F. 36
    L.R. 37 3/4
    R.R. 37 1/2

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

    http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t379/TACRUN1/IMG_0280.jpg

I am very happy with the end result & the ride is awesome. Noticeably better handling & it soaks up the bumps more firmly than the original black shocks/struts. The biggest difference being less nose dive when braking & less sway when steering. I hope this helps anyone on the fence about the Bilsteins or the Hellwig.

    Thanks:)

Nice I just ordered my 5100 last week with wheelers 2" AAL for the rear. So I will be going a little higher than you but I will be sure to post some pics when I get it done.

    1stacoma,
I am happy for you and I hope that everything goes as smooth for you as it did for me. Be sure to post before & after pics and let us know if you get any driveline vibe. HOPEFULLY NOT!

    RockRescue,
I laughed when you posted 1/8. I didn't even realize that,LOL! As for the airport, no. That is Miami International. That pic was taken in the parking lot of a restaurant that boarders Perimeter Rd. I have family in Tarpon Sorings, Fl so I have been to the St. Pete airport a couple of times and it does look similiar to MIA in this pic.

    SCSPerformance,
I thought the same thing as what you commented when I saw the mechanic test drive my truck. I've even thought of buying new ones (these have scratches) from a company that sells OEM reproduction wheels. I saw them for $60 each, I believe. I've even thought of having mine painted the exact same color as the truck. I've also considered aftermarket. But, I like chrome so I don't know. As you can see, I'm VERY undecided here. The only thing that I am sure of is that I want to stay with 16's because I like these tires.

    Thanks :)

^^^ Well according to UPS my shipment should be here today. The only tools I was missing was the spring compressor to do the coils and some more C-clamps to do the leaf springs. Yes pretty excited to lose that stock look. But... I'm going to have to roll around on stock wheels until I get the $ from some new ones.

I bought the bilsteins from wheelers along with the 1.5 aal. Their a great compay and speedy delivery. I'll bet your excited. Im out of the country working right now and I just recently had my parents take my truck to the off road shop to put on the stuff I bought. All I have is the pictures my sister took to look at. Can't wait to get home and see it in person. Christ, I feel like I just bought a mail order bride im coming home to.

Yeah Taco Dan, You are right! LOL!!

    Hey Rickshaw,

1st: Have a safe trip back home!

    2nd: BEAUTIFUL TRUCK!
It would have never occured to me to put those wheels on a Silver Truck but looking at them now, I am impressed with the look.

BTW, Is that an Undercover Tonneau?
If so, how do you like it?
Is it easy to remove when not needed?

Truthfully, I have only carried 2 items taller than the bed height so this can greatly benefit me, for my use.

    Thanks:)

Can you just add the bilsteins and will the ride be improved?

The front is set at 1.75. The guy at the off road shop had to remove the front mud flaps cause he said it rubbed. He also said that it rubbed the wheel well at full lock. Alot of others with the same set up said they had no problem with rubbing. Some said I should have went with the fronts at 2.5 but I didn't want it to be nose high.

Alot of members with the bilstien's said that it rode better with them, especially with the rear ones installed too.

    1st: Thanks
    2nd: Thanks

Yes it is the Undercover classic. So far I like it alot. I haven't taken it off yet but from everything I here it is very simple to take on and off, like less then 5 minutes. I picked up one end of it before it was installed and it was very light as well. If you can take a liking to the all black look I say it is a good alternative to the expensive fiberglass ones.

That also depends on what your wheel offset is... if your looking for a better ride quality, leave them at 1.75

Lifts, wheels and tires do funny and different things to different trucks. My fabtech lift claims to not rub with 35's, yet i have 33's on, it it slightly rubs at lock. Just something to think about.
